Remove configuration settings from Lightspeed Payments terminal

To resolve syncing issues you may need to remove the configuration and reset your Lightspeed Payment terminal.

This is not a full reset, nor is it a config update. Instead, it removes any existing config settings on your EFTPOS machine. It will trigger a restart, and you will need to reconfigure 
Lightspeed Payment terminals by following the steps in this guide: Setting up your Lightspeed Payment Terminal.

 

Remove Config from Lightspeed Payments terminal

 

Smart Terminal with Printer (Formerly known as S1F2)
  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap Configuration
  3. Enter the Admin passcode 5773 and select the Continue button.
  4. Click Reset Device, and then confirm you wish to proceed.
  5. The boarding process will start from scratch again.
E280 (Phased out)
  1. Select small square bottom right
  2. Select Admin.
  3. Enter the Admin passcode 0856 and select the Confirm button.
  4. Remove Config
E285 (phased out)
  1. Select 1 and then the Confirm key.
  2. Hit Config, then Remove Config
v400 (No longer sold)
  1. Select 1 and then the Confirm key.
  2. Hit Config, then Remove Config
p400 (No longer sold)
  1. Select 1 and then the Confirm key.
  2. Hit Config, then Remove Config

 


 

Once complete, follow Setting up your Lightspeed Payment Terminal to set up and pair and reboard your terminals.
